Are you one of those people who look at spring league and say "I'd love to play some ultimate, but I cannot stand this April weather" and decide just to wait it out for summer? Well, we've got amazing news for you.
This spring MUFA is piloting the Fairweather Wednesday Mixed League!
Fairweather League is a four week long, one night a week league on Wednesdays starting on May 7th and running all four Wednesdays in May. (Weather permitting, because this remains Wisconsin.)
The league fee will be $20. There will be no shirts or discs, but each team will receive the famous two pitchers per team after each game from the Great Dane.
Games will be at 6pm and spread out between North Star, Glacier Hill, Manchester, and Midtown Commons. We cannot guarantee that your games will be on a specific side of town.
Games will be played in the same 4:3/3:4 alternating gender-match format as all other MUFA mixed leagues.
The league will be filled under a lottery system, and league size will be determined once registration has closed.
Registration opens April 15th and will close April 27th.
We're looking forward to potentially adding a new league to our repertoire, and hope you'll join us for some fair weather ultimate!
