Join us for another year of HalloMendota, a spirited, Halloween-themed mixed ultimate tournament in the capital city of Ultimate: Madison, Wisconsin! Taking place the weekend before Halloween, this 2-day tournament is designed for fun-loving teams who enjoy great ultimate, creative costumes, and community-centered events.

👥 Tournament Format & Team Info

• Up to 10 Mixed Teams (Must be 18+ years old, gender ratio: 4/3:3/4, alternating).

• Each team is guaranteed 7 games over the weekend. The format will be designed to maximize the number of unique teams that you get to play over the course of the weekend.

• Games will be held on full-sized, lined fields

• Ends by 3pm on Sunday

• Cost: $385 per team

🎭 Themed Fun & Spirit

This isn’t just about frisbee—it’s about fun!

• Teams are strongly encouraged to dress in coordinated costumes

• A team costume contest will be held, with the team voted Best Dressed by their fellow players earning a 10% discount on next year's bid fee!

• Expect a weekend full of spirited play, sideline antics, and spooky vibes

🍕 Food & Hospitality

We’ve got your food options covered so you can focus on the fun:

• Breakfast options provided for teams on both Saturday and Sunday mornings

• Local food trucks will be available during lunch for options to purchase on site

• Pizza provided after games on Saturday at Tournament Central (get your team photo taken to pick up your pizza)

• Free tournament disc for each captain upon check-in

🎯 Why Play HalloMendota?

This tournament is being organized by MUFA, a non-profit organization with decades of experience running successful leagues and events in the Madison area. Proceeds from HalloMendota will go into developing ultimate in Madison at all levels, including our many youth initiatives —so while you're enjoying great competition and costumes, you’re also helping grow the sport.

🎃 MIDDLE SCHOOL TOURNAMENT 🥏

Join us for the Fall 2026 HalloMendota Middle School in Madison, WI!  This event is a school-based costume tournament - we encourage teams/players to dress up in costume for a fun day of high-spirited ultimate.  

👥 Tournament Format & Team Info

Middle school programming is open to players who are in 5th-8th grade in the 2026-2027 school year.  This is a school-based event.  If you need help connecting to your school's team or the nearest school your child is eligible to play at please reach out to [email protected].

Tournament cost will be $21 per player, payable via PayPal

Payment options within that link include PayPal, Venmo, Apple Pay, and credit and debit cards.  

Players in need of financial assistance with this cost should select the relevant option on the questions around financial assistance on this form. Financial concerns should not deter you from playing - we want you here!

We ask that players do not attend if they are experiencing illness.

All players and their parents/guardians must complete the waivers in this form before participating in this event.
