We’re incredibly excited for another edition of many MUFA regulars favorite season of the year. It’s time for Fall League 2026. MUFA is hosting adult and youth leagues. Fall league is a great way to make new friends, develop your ultimate skills, and have a ton of fun!

🍂 Adult Hat League 🍂

This is a “hat” league. Sign up individually or with one friend (baggage), and MUFA will build balanced, even teams.  Whether you’re a seasoned veteran player or a first-timer, you have opportunities to match up against people of your skill level and learn from experienced players. 

It also features a ranked choice lottery registration. We always have far more registrants than spots, so this gives everyone a fair shot to get into a league for fall.

Here's a summary of how it works:

1. Register for one or more leagues you're interested in.

2. Rank the leagues based on your preference.

3. MUFA will randomly select players from the lottery and place them in their highest preferred league that still has space.

Registration & Team Assignments

• Jul 27 - Aug 11 (@ 11pm): Lottery registration open at mufa.org.

• Aug 12: First lottery round.

• Aug 12 - Aug 17: Player payments and extra lottery waves.

• Aug 17: Last day for refunds (minus a $2–$3 fee).

• Aug 21: Initial teams created.

• Aug 26: Teams finalized.

Game Schedule

• Aug 30 - Oct 22: Games played over 8 consecutive weeks.

• Oct 23: Finals Party at McGaw Park.

Every registration includes a long-sleeve team shirt and two free pitchers of beer per team at the Great Dane Pub & Brewing Co. after games.

❓ Definitions

• Lottery System: Register and rank your leagues; players are randomly drawn and placed based on preference and space.

• FMP / MMP: Female-matchup preferred / Male-matchup preferred players. Agender, GNC, and genderqueer players are encouraged to join whichever matchups feel safest and most comfortable.

• Mixed: Alternating 4MMP/3FMP and 3MMP/4FMP on-field ratios.

• Open: Anyone can play; no mandated gender ratios.

• Refunds: No direct refunds are allowed after August 17.
